Learning is a good thing. But it
is of no use to many fools in this world. Like parrots they merely
pronounce words without having practiced their true intent. Even
Narada, a supreme learned man, had to approach Saint Sanatkumar and
Arjuna, a supreme warrior, had to take refuge in Lord Krishna to learn
and apply the ways to rise above worldly delusions and attachments.
True
wisdom can be acquired by Abhyasayoga, or repeated practice, only.
Abhyasayoga teaches that the Atman is Indivisible, and is in all creatures, even in inert substances. Therefore, treat everything and everybody
as your own self. Walk in the divine path of righteousness as taught by
Gita (16:22,24). There is death of the body, prana, mind, intellect,
ego, jiva but not of the real you, the Atman, which is the same as
Paramatman. The knowledge of Truth is immortal when practiced
relentlessly and coupled with renunciation of lust, greed, desire for
name and fame, jealousy, vanity, pride, and sloth.
Take refuge in
Abhyasayoga of the Gitaji and you will not fail nor be deceived by maya. You, in your so called wisdom, are your greatest deceiver
(6:5,6). Learn to love selflessly and become your own best dependable
friend. The Lord is our only true friend in this world. Others can be
our true friends only when we feel pure Love for them and do not look
upon them as our objects of pleasures or desires. This is possible only
when we have first passed through the furnace of love just like Radhika
and Miradevi did.
