How can I stop being judgmental and critical of myself and others? E-mail

We are neither qualified nor expected to judge ourselves or others. Just accept yourself and others as they are since God accepts us all as we are. Judging others merely indicates our ignorant pride. It is useless and a waste of time. "Mind your own business" is a good rule. Even if you have seen God you should not judge others or give advice unless asked. True Saints do not advise or teach. They transmit their love through guidance and teachings. Their few words are more valuable than all the libraries and information highways combined.

“A sister said: “I used to pray, but have now given it up.” I asked: “Why?” She replied: “Because I used to deceive myself.” The reply is, no doubt, correct. But let her give up deceiving. Why give up praying?” – M.K. Gandhi
