A person may have a good memory, but machines and computers have a better memory. To have a better memory than others is not important. It is important that we have more love, compassion, understanding, and dedication to life. It is nice to have a good memory, but what is more important is love, compassion, dedication and helping the poor or less fortunate.

Everybody can do these things. Everybody has been equally given these feelings. They don't need to have a good memory, good looks, or even wealth. What we really need is given to us by God. What we don't need we tend to make important and then we feel depressed, competitive and look down upon others. The Gita will teach us how to look upon everything properly and not to have false values.
