How do you define God? E-mail

There is no point in defining God when you do not understand God. God is not definable. We are always used to thinking in terms of finding and seeing things our way because we are ignorant and impure. Hindus have defined God by saying that any you can conceive, imagine, think or argue is not God. God is beyond all. He is beyond this universe, therefore, he is beyond your physical or intellectual imagination.

Quotes

"In all nations there are minds which incline to dwell in the conception of the fundamental Unity. The raptures of prayer and ecstasy of devotion lose all being in one Being. This tendency finds its highest expression in the religious writings of the East, and chiefly in the Indian Scriptures, in the Vedas, the Bhagavat Geeta, and the Vishnu Purana." - Ralph Waldo Emerson
