God is every where. God is in everything. Everything is a manifestation of God. We are in God. God is in us. So we shouldn't really be looking for God. The best place to see God is within us. That is difficult but the Gita will teach us how we can see God outwardly in outside things and then gradually try to see within and see that God resides in each one of us. Almost every religion teaches us that the kingdom of God is within us. Atman is within us.

In the Gita Lord Krishna says to Arjuna, "I am the Atman residing in all the creatures." So God is within us. When we begin to see within us, we will begin to see in others. That is the beauty of it.  God cannot be realized intellectually but with certain practices.
