What are the duties of humans? E-mail

First learn the Laws of Nature with observations and then act accordingly. Next, understand the Laws of Spirituality and practice them. Be careful not to be deceived by shallow interpretations of several scriptures. Instead focus on an original and practical source like the Gita.

Our primary goal is to go beyond duties and be free. This may not be totally feasible as long as we possess this body -- as it must be taken care off meticulously along with everything else. Duties stem from desires. We may not be able to eliminate all our desires, but we can certainly reduce their quantity and intensity. This in itself would curtail our anxiety and fear.

In spite of the strife created by ourselves, never neglect to love others and to experience the real beauty residing within us. God is the source of this true and lasting beauty. The purpose of our existence is to be free from all the wordy encounters at some point in our life, whether now or sometime in the next life. If you accelerate the process of shedding these bonds, you will enjoy the benefits of freedom right away. This does not endorse irresponsibility in one form or the other. A true saint or Gitaji will explain real duties on a personal basis.

“Non-attachment is difficult of attainment, so say some. Verily, it is so. But are not the things we need always difficult to obtain? It is only when we put in sustained and determined effort that what is difficult becomes easy.” – M.K. Gandhi
