What Is Love? |
|
-
Love
is JOY -- not for feeling, talking or discussing. Nor is it subject to logic
or arguments.
-
Love
is Love, nothing behind, nothing beyond.
-
Love
alone is fulfillment.
-
Love
has the power to arouse love. It does not arouse passions (whether physical,
mental or intellectual).
-
Love
is not transient. It simply continues to exist, expand and manifest.
-
Love
is what a mother pours in to bring out Supreme Love -- a manifestation in abundance
anywhere you turn!
-
Lack
of Love is stress, which is caused by selfishness.
-
No
activity, good or evil, can manifest Love.
-
Love
loves Love alone and overlooks the auxiliaries (body, mind, intellect).
-
Love
does not give nor take. It merely persists.
-
Love
has no aspirations, no hope, nowhere to go, and nothing to do except to love.
-
Love
is full in itself and wherever it is (i.e. everywhere). It has no restraints of
time, place or possessions.
-
Love
does not own but keeps the beloved free because it wants him to be free.
Therefore, there is no jealousy.
-
Love
never allows its beloved any separation.
-
Love
always thinks of its beloved and not of itself.
-
Love
never back bites, praises, nor degrades.
-
Love
over-powers anger, lust and greed.
-
Where
there is Love, there is no sex. Where there is sex, there is no Love.
-
Love
is indifferent to everything except love and so its manifestations.
-
Love
sees no division, it has all the power it needs, yet never uses.
-
Love
never causes suffering, planning, imagination or self-propagation.
-
Love
is happy as is, wherever it may be.
-
Love
defeats the enemy by converting him to Love.
-
Love
never hates, never takes revenge and yet it never fails.
-
Love
talks in silence and silence is the talk of Love.
-
The
nearest Love we experience is when we are freshly born and our mother
is unaware of what is happening.
-
Love
is to look within and not without.
-
Love
is found within and finds itself everywhere.
-
Love
sees itself everywhere because it is all pervading.
-
All
we have is Love. Ignorance, health and sickness are its manifestations at lower
levels.
-
There
are various reflections of the same diamond which has several polished
surfaces. So is Love.
-
You
will find Love whether you look for it or not because Love always works for
you. It will find you. Stop working for Love because that process itself is an
obstacle.
-
Love
is never depressed because it never expects. It considers loss in gain and gain
in loss.
-
Love
is winning in losing and losing in winning.
- Love wants animosity destroyed. It embraces the purified soul as its
own.
-
Love
never settles for anything less than Love.
-
Love
overpowers all your resistance when and where it decides to do so.
-
Love
makes you forgetful of the past, as it always works in the present moment only.
No past, no future.
-
Love
can express if it chooses or remain silent if it so wishes.
-
Love
never approves dishonesty, never threatens its lover, never tries to please
anything but Love.
-
Love
is beautiful. The beauty is Love.
-
There
is no negligence in Love.
-
Ugliness
is another face of beauty, and beauty is another face of ugliness.
-
Love
gives us hope, faith, assurance par excellence, and stays with us without
purpose.
-
The
whole universe is the breast of Love; it always remains eternally nurtured by
Love.
-
Love
never denies or misrepresents anything that exists.
-
Love
sees the cause of happening though there is no cause.
-
Love
has no evil. Evil has no existence.
-
Love
has never non-existence.
-
Without
Love we are living dead. Living part is Love, dead part is loveless.
-
Love
never pressurizes its lover directly or indirectly, through threats or bribery. Love works through freedom.
-
Love
never promises. Love itself is a promise.
-
Love
changes every second, never tells you the direction it takes.
-
Love
never descends. It just ascends to higher and higher purity. Energy is the nearest
manifestation of Love.
-
Love
has no relationship, no obligation and therefore no duty to be fulfilled.
-
Love
and duty never go together; yet, Love never fails to fulfill its duty to love.
-
Love
knows that nothing belongs to it but it belongs to all.
-
Love
has no preference, no priority, no injustice, never argues to anyone's
advantage and has no doubts.
-
Love
is self contained and knows its power but never uses it.
-
Love
permits foolishness only to the degree to which it wants to attract it to
itself.
-
Foolishness
and wisdom have nothing to do with Love.
-
Love
does not create, therefore does not destroy. Yet, Love is creation and creation
is Love.
-
Love
is beyond study, discussion, logic, books, beyond words, thoughts, beyond
meditation and samadhi.
-
You
cannot help but let it Love. Love will love irrespective of you.
-
Love
knows your pride and its destructive powers. Love gives you the power to
defend, freedom to choose, and remains unaffected under all circumstances
barring none.
-
Love
never tolerates your suffering and never causes you any suffering either.
-
Love
is never depressed due to its own suffering .... it always provides happiness.
-
Love
cannot be bought or traded.
-
Jealousy
merely intensifies Love, and then jealousy disappears. Love never disappears.
-
Love
simply exits, never to be known.
-
Love
can express itself to ignorant but for the wise it simply presents itself
within and without expression.
-
Love
can create clouds of vanity and then by its own power it can dissolve vanity as
the sun creates clouds and then causes them to disappear.
-
All
that we know through senses or faculties is the imagination of the mind and the
intellect that really never exists.
-
Good
or bad mind cannot show Love. Only a purified mind can oblige with its own
disappearance.
-
Time
is the biggest illusion for Love. Do not seek Love. Do not resist Love. Do
not discuss Love. Do not talk about Love. Simply immerse yourself to Love.
-
Silence is the nearest joy of Love. Everything else is
a disturbance.
- The more
you run after Love, the more it drifts from you, just like the appearance of water
in a dessert.
-
Intellect cannot reach Love, so it returns empty handed and creates
confusion.
-
Love
comes in its own time.
-
Love
is precision, discipline, demanding performance, never allows negligence. It
always gets things done under favorable or unfavorable circumstances. Love has
no obstacles.
-
Love
prefers to wither and die rather than kill something else for its survival.
By doing so it simply saves the killer. It always forgives without a cause or
an explanation or making you feel ashamed of your action.
- Love admonishes to prevent you from future admonishing.
-
Love
does not grieve though it does miss its beloved.
-
Love
is Krishna. Love is Gopi. Krishna is Gopi. Love plays with Itself.
-
Love
and work have nothing to do with each other. The more you strain for Love, the less you
enjoy Love.
-
Love
is known by only those who have experienced it. It can never be explained.
Explanations are simply a make-believe currency, never real gold.
-
Without
the experience of Love, life is nothing but vanity and a waste.
-
Love
feels suffering only through sympathy but not in reality.
This is only a drop from the ocean of Love. The rest is
up to you. No questions, no explanations, no need for justifications. Just
Love.
