We human beings, can't conceive the nature, size or shape of our
Creator, Brahman. Brahman is neither male nor female, but the creator
of both. We can only know or feel God through love and faith when we are
utterly pure and free from pride, lust and greed. When we realize God, we lose
ourselves, and when we realize or are conscious of ourselves, we lose God (Brahman). Love and pride cannot co-exist.
Since the entire visible and
invisible Infinite Universe is only an infinitesimal part of that Creator, we
can only imagine the utter smallness of the Earth, not to speak of the little
divisions of lands and people. Yet each one is a spark of that divine fire, a wave of
that infinite ocean, a flower of that vast tree. Thus, all of us have a common root in our Creator. If we, in our pride,
only realize our nothingness, and in our humility, realize our potential
greatness, this world would be a better place -- the most beautiful place for all
of us to live, enjoy and serve in.
No mathematical additions
and subtractions work when dealing with our Creator. When a mother gives birth to a child, she doesn't become that much less, but remains the same
in her pristine purity and infinite love. So it is with the Creator.
Thus, we would never fear
lack of anything in this world if we humbly undersood
this prayer and lived up to our true nature -- love.
Only love comes out of God for God is love and nothing else. Evil is an
illusion that has no basis. It does not have its own power to survive. Evil
comes and goes, indicating its illusionary nature as everything else in this universe. Only the pure love within us is inseparable from God's infinite
love. Divisions and separations are illusions like mirages of water in the desert.
