“O Lord!
Thou are woman and man; boy and girl and the old tottering on their sticks.
Thou alone have assumed all these various forms. The Universe itself is your
face.”
All true saints who have
realized the Truth, Love or God, have unquestionably announced that God is
Universal, that all forms are His manifestations and should thus be respected, worshiped and loved.
To think of God as male
only or predominantly male is simply male egoism and ignorance. Even some
brainwashed women may agree that God has to be a male. But that belief must be corrected by the above statement.
God is One, though the wise
may describe God in many different ways. Yes! There are many paths to
reach God, perhaps as many as there are aspirants or seekers of God. Just as
the ocean is arbitrarily outlined as the Pacific, the Atlantic, the Indian Ocean, etc., it is but one sheet
of water. So is God, though described by different names and forms. It would be
much safer if we considered Love as God.
